Our priority is to make sure your visit to us is safe.
First of all, in an escape room it's only your group in the room - no one else. Your only exposure to other people will be our Games Master who will stay behind a protective shield at all times. They have been instructed to stay at home if they think there is any chance that they might be infected.
Our venues are spacious enough for players to observe reasonable social distancing while inside.
We disinfect the venues thoroughly after each game.
We ask our customers to sign a waiver to confirm that none of them is showing COVID-19 symptoms.
We provide you with anti-bacterial hand gel that you will be able to use before you enter the game area.
We believe that with all these measures in place, our rooms are as close to home safety as is possible.
An escape game is an indoor group activity designed for adults and older children. Teams of between two and eight members have one hour to make their way through and 'escape' using clues to solve puzzles and riddles and crack codes.
Due to a lot of electronic mini-games and interactive puzzles our rooms feel a lot like being inside Crystal Maze! There is always something to do and engage with for everyone.
Both our rooms have a lot of puzzles that players can solve at the same time, making it possible to have bigger groups. Portal can accommodate up to 10 players, Beyond Zero - up to 6 players.
Our games are designed to be played by people of all ages above 10. When we have young players aged 10 to 12, depending on the group and temperament of individuals in it, the game master might go in together with the players.
Mon - Fri: 11:00 am - 9:00 pm
Sat - Sun: 10:00 am - 9:30 pm
Prices depend on the number of players in your team, and range between £19 per person if you have 10 players in the room to £28 per player if there are two of you.
Booking online is the fastest way to ensure that an escape game is reserved for you and your team. However, you can also call us at 07878 678424 and we'll be happy to take your booking.
Yes. Once you book a room, even if there are only two of you playing, you get the room to yourselves.
We are at Units 42 and 44 of the Interchange House on Howard Way. Use the postcode MK16 9PY for your satnav. Once at the Interchange Business Park, drive along Howard Way. When you see a big red sign that says 'Interchange House' with a concrete cow on the side of the road, you need to turn right, drive to the back of the building and then you have come to the right place. There is a lot of parking available. Push through the grey door under the sigh "Escape for Real" and we are in Unit 42 (Portal) and Unit 44 (Beyond Zero), right in front of you.
Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before your booking time to allow for a short pre-game briefing. If you arrive later than the starting time of your slot you may not receive the full 60 minutes to play as we have to keep a strict schedule to ensure that each team's room is ready at the appropriate time.
Just yourselves and a desire to have fun! Everything you need to solve the puzzles will be inside the room. Comfortable clothing is recommended.
No, not really. It's fun to pretend though! You are free to leave at any time should the need arise. At any point of the game there will be at least one unlocked door in any of the rooms. Besides, there are emergency exit buttons above the doors with magnetic locks.
