Our priority is to make sure your visit to us is safe.
First of all, in an escape room it's only your group in the room - no one else. Your only exposure to other people will be our Games Master who will keep a social distance at all times. They have been instructed to stay at home if they think there is any chance that they might be infected.
Our venues are spacious enough for players to observe one-meter-plus social distancing rules while inside.
We have extended the intervals between booking slots, which allows us to disinfect the venues thoroughly after each game. We have installed protective shields and introduced PPE kits for our Games Masters.
We ask our customers to sign a waiver to confirm that none of them is showing COVID-19 symptoms.
We require all our players to wear protective facial masks during the whole time on the premises. We also ask you to use the anti-bacterial hand gel that we provide before you enter the game area. We can provide our players with disposable gloves for their peace of mind as well.
We believe that with all these measures in place, our rooms are as close to home safety as is possible.
An escape game is an indoor group activity designed for adults and older children. Teams of between two and eight members have one hour to make their way through and 'escape' using clues to solve puzzles and riddles and crack codes.
Teams tend to come out feeling energised and there's a lot to talk about and laugh about afterwards. Our players say it feels like being inside Crystal Maze! Almost all of our customers come back to do the second room.
For our games we can accept up to 8 players. However, if you have more people and definitely want to stay together you can add extra players for £10 per head.
Our games are designed to be played by people of all ages above 10. When we have young players aged 10 to 15, depending on the group and temperament of individuals in it, the game master might go in together with the players.
Mon - Fri: 11:00 am - 8:45 pm
Sat - Sun: 10:00 am - 9:30 pm
Prices range between £13 to £25 per player. The more players you have in your team, the cheaper it is to play. Peak hours after 5 pm and on weekends charge a slightly different rate.
Booking online is the fastest way to ensure that an escape game is reserved for you and your team. However, you can also call us at 07878 678424 or pop in to our rooms at Units 42-44, Interchange House, Howard Way, Newport Pagnell, MK16 9PY, and we'll be happy to take your booking.
Yes. Once you book a room, even if there are only two of you playing, you get the room to yourselves.
We are at Units 42 and 44 of the Interchange House on Howard Way. Use the postcode MK16 9PY for your satnav. Once at the Interchange Business Park, drive along Howard Way. When you see a big red sign that says 'Interchange House' with a concrete cow on the side of the road, you need to turn right, drive to the back of the building and then you have come to the right place. There is a lot of parking available. Push through the blue door and we are in Unit 42 (Portal) and Unit 44 (Beyond Zero), right in front of you.
Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before your booking time to allow for a short pre-game briefing. If you arrive late you may not receive the full 60 minutes to play as we have to keep a strict schedule to ensure that each team's room is ready at the appropriate time.
Just yourselves and a desire to have fun! Everything you need to solve the puzzles will be inside the room. Comfortable clothing is recommended.
Please notice that for the duration of COVID-19 lockdown measures you will be asked to wear a protective facial mask during all the time you are staying on the premises. You can bring your own mask or buy a disposable mask from us.
No, not really. It's fun to pretend though! At any point of the game there will be at least one unlocked door in any of the rooms. Besides, there are emergency exit buttons above the doors with magnetic locks. You are free to leave at any time should the need arise.
