We understand everybody's concerns regarding coronavirus, so would like to let you know about the measures we have taken to make sure your visit to us is safe. First of all, in an escape room it's only your group in the room - no one else. Your only exposure to other people will be our Games Masters who have been trained to watch out for symptoms of potential virus (both respiratory and temperature) in themselves and any of the players. They have been instructed to stay at home if they think there is any chance that they may be infected. We also ask our customers to kindly re-schedule their visit to us if they have similar symptoms themselves. If a customer arrives to play who is showing symptoms, they will unfortunately not be allowed to enter into the game area. We disinfect the venue daily and provide our players with disposable gloves for their peace of mind. We believe that with all these measures in place, our rooms are as close to "your own home" safety as is possible. So you can stop worrying about coronavirus and have fun with your friends and family!
An escape game is an indoor group activity designed for adults and older children. Teams of between two and eight members have one hour to make their way through and 'escape' using clues to solve puzzles and riddles and crack codes.
Teams tend to come out feeling energised and there's a lot to talk about and laugh about afterwards. Our players say it feels like being inside Crystal Maze! Almost all of our customers come back to do the second room.
Our games are designed to be played by people of all ages above 10. When we have young players aged 10 to 15, depending on the group and temperament of individuals in it, the game master might go in together with the players.
Booking online is the fastest way to ensure that an escape game is reserved for you and your team. However, you can also call us at 07878 678424 or pop in to our rooms at Unit 42, Interchange House, Howard Way, Newport Pagnell, MK16 9PY, and we'll be happy to take your booking.
We are at Units 42 and 44 of the Interchange House on Howard Way. Use the postcode MK16 9PY for your satnav. Once at the Interchange Business Park, drive along Howard Way. When you see a big red sign that says 'Interchange House' with a concrete cow on the side of the road, you need to turn right, drive to the back of the building and then you have come to the right place. There is a lot of parking available. Push through the blue door and we are in Unit 42 (Portal) and Unit 44 (Beyond Zero), right in front of you.
Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before your booking time to allow for a short pre-game briefing. If you arrive late you may not receive the full 60 minutes to play as we have to keep a strict schedule to ensure that each team's room is ready at the appropriate time.
No, not really. It's fun to pretend though! At any point of the game there will be at least one unlocked door in any of the rooms. Besides, there are emergency exit buttons above the doors with magnetic locks. You are free to leave at any time should the need arise.
